Emily Carr University

The Ceramics Program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design offers a BFA in Visual Art and a laboratory for candidates pursuing a Master of Applied Arts (MAA), ECU’s interdisciplinary post-graduate degree.
Ceramics at Emily Carr University is a multidisciplinary practice that integrates ceramic processes and materials with sculpture, painting, drawing, print media, digital applications, design and architecture.
The work on view at “One of a Kind” showcases both current students and Alumni of 2009. It highlights ceramic as a material involving the integration of design, industrial processes and new technologies within a contemporary context. 
 
Kootenay School of Arts 

Kootenay School of the Arts is dedicated to graduating students who can make a living through their professions in art, craft and design. In support of this goal, our curriculum emphasizes studio work and our faculty is made up of individual who are first and foremost, practicing artists and craftspeople. Vancouver Community College

The Jewellery Art & Design program at Vancouver Community College is a unique, two year diploma program that offers a hands-on learning experience in the design and fabrication of jewellery. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for creative individuals who wish to develop their skills in both the artistic and technical aspects of jewellery making. Established in 1988, the Jewellery Art & Design program has been instrumental in training a dynamic and entrepreneurial community of successful studio artists.

 

Vancouver Island Univerity

The Visual Arts Program at Vancouver Island University offers a broadly-based approach to art-making. Faculty members are practicing artists who are committed to teaching. While providing a sound foundation in visual art practice, we encourage experimentation and positive risk-taking in the expansion of individual expression. In addition to providing an exciting creative environment, we are also dedicated to providing students with the expertise required for careers in Visual Art.
